SFX

SFX is a technology that allows easy linking from records in bibliographic databases, in library catalogues or from web search results to full texts of documents searched for and provides other value added services. The service is intended for students and employees of TBU and is available inside the IP range of TBU. For access to electronic information resources of TBU from another location, it is recommended to use remote access in order for the SFX service to function properly.

The SFX services are available in the information sources listed in the Sources section. Please click on the SFX button to get the SFX services (this may vary depending on the source visited).

Crossref:

TBU uses the Crossref services. By clicking on this link you can register the TBU SFX server with CrossRef. When linking with the use of DOIs, you will be directed via the DOI resolver to the university SFX server, and not to the website of the publisher of the electronic journal. SFX will redirect you to a copy of the journal in the relevant database subscribed to by TBU.

You will need to enable cookies in your browser.

List of resources linking through DOI:

CrossRef Repository, Ingenta Connect , Agricola, Analytical Abstracts, INIS Database, Free Zentralblatt MATH database.

bX Service:

bX is a unique service that offers recommendations of related documents to the users within the SFX services offered. It is based on an analysis of data from many SFX instances worldwide. Thus, the users receive a representative list of documents that could be of interest to them.

The bX menu is not always displayed; only if the recommendations are available for the document found. Frequently cited and verified journals have a greater probability of success.

Sources:

Sources in the context of SFX services are databases and other information resources, where users can work only with bibliographic records and abstracts of the document found. It is recommended to use the SFX service precisely for linking to full texts (if available) and for using additional services.
