About ICT Technology Park

Tomas Bata University in Zlín considers the Technology Park of Information and Communication Technology a strategically important step forward in the development of the University. The main aim of the Park is to extend cooperation between the University and the industrial sphere. The key objective is to create a synergic centre for companies that will make use of the experience of the academic staff in information and communication technology.

Aims and objectives of the project:

  • Develop cooperation between the University and regional companies on the basis of contract and collaborative research
  • Ensure quality machines and laboratory equipment for the Park
  • Qualitative and quantitative increase in publication activities of the academic and research staff
  • Create new job opportunities for HEI graduates, particularly for successful PhD graduates
  • Link research activities with the process of education within Master’s and Doctoral programmes
  • Direct participation of students in Doctoral programmes and courses in research activities of the Park

Expert and counselling services:

  • Implementation of research projects from the application sphere
  • Implementation of joint research projects of the University and the industry
  • Assistance with the preparation of projects submitted in order to obtain grants and funding
  • Commercialization of research results

Technical services:

  • Office spaces rental
  • Laboratory spaces and technical facilities rental

Scientific-pedagogical activities:

  • Trainings, seminars, technology and collaboration exchanges

  • Using TP as a tool for educating students in Master’s and Doctoral programmes
