TBU Catering Facilities Located in Zlín

Catering at TBU

If you work part-time or full-time (minimum FTE 0.5 – i.e. a shift of at least 4 hours per day), you are entitled to subsidised lunches provided by the University. Each working day when you are not on annual leave, not on a business trip lasting more than five hours, and not on sick leave, you may collect one subsidised lunch in the TBU’s catering facility. Before collecting your meal, please present your employee identity card, which also serves as a payment card for lunch.

Through the WebKredit system, you can check the balance of your catering account and view the menu for the current week. Each employee signs a salary deduction agreement with TBU as part of their employment contract to enable cashless payment for lunches – on-site payment is available only by cashless methods.

An online ordering system is also available as a complement to the current system, providing a guarantee that your selected meal will be available during the serving period.

The total number of main meals collected each month must not exceed the number of shifts you have worked during that period.

Healthy Lifestyle – Towards a More Sustainable Refectory: Less Waste, More Quality Food

The aim of the TBU Refectory is to offer everyone a varied and tasty selection of meals without having to compromise on their diet.

You can still enjoy healthy breakfast options at U13 and benefit from a 50 % discount on main dishes at the end of the day as part of our effort to reduce food waste.

A new feature in our refectory is a special range of meals with reduced gluten content, a great choice for anyone who prefers a lighter, more balanced diet without needing to strictly avoid gluten.

We use carefully selected ingredients that are naturally lower in gluten, such as rice, corn, buckwheat and almond flours.

This year, the Halls of Residence and Refectory also plans to introduce a system for tracking organic and eco-friendly foods within WebKredit.
