Graduate of TBU’s Faculty of Humanities, Adéla Langerová, Wins Zlatý Ámos 2026
31. March 2026The Faculty of Humanities at Tomas Bata University in Zlín has every reason to celebrate. Its graduate, Adéla Langerová, has been named the winner of the nationwide Zlatý Ámos 2026 poll, which recognises the most popular teachers in the Czech Republic.
Adéla Langerová was nominated for the competition by her pupils from Mikoláš Aleš Primary School in Zlín, who wished to acknowledge her approachable manner, support and dedication to her work. Following success at the regional level and in the subsequent semi-final, she advanced to the national final, where she was awarded the overall title of Zlatý Ámos.
“It’s an indescribable feeling. Every teacher finds real joy in teaching with passion and helping children discover the world,” said Adéla Langerová after receiving the award.
Adéla Langerová graduated from the Faculty of Humanities at Tomas Bata University in Zlín, where she completed her lower primary school teacher training. In her classes, she is known for her supportive approach to pupils, her emphasis on mutual respect and her ability to create a positive classroom environment. As she puts it: “What makes my teaching special is that it’s not only me teaching the children – the children teach me as well.”
Adéla Langerová’s success is not only a personal recognition of her work, but also a fine reflection on the Faculty of Humanities, which prepares future teachers and other professionals for practice. The faculty warmly congratulates Adéla and wishes her many more satisfied pupils and continued joy in her teaching career.
