International Workshop: AI in Higher Education and Research
8. April 2026Join us for the international workshop Advancing Effective Use of Modern AI in Education for Industry Transitions, taking place on 13–14 April 2026 at the Faculty of Applied Informatics, Tomas Bata University in Zlín.
The workshop is organised as part of the V4AI project and brings together experts from academia, the public sector and industry across Central Europe. It is intended not only for academic staff, but also for students, company representatives, public administration professionals and anyone interested in artificial intelligence and its application in education and practice.

Focus of the workshop
The programme will explore the current role of artificial intelligence in higher education, research and collaboration with industry. Particular attention will be given to the practical application of AI, innovation in degree programmes, ethical considerations and the challenges associated with rapid technological development. The event will feature expert lectures, panel discussions and interactive sessions, providing opportunities for sharing experience and fostering collaboration across different types of organisations.
The workshop will take place in person at the Faculty of Applied Informatics, TBU in Zlín, and will also be accessible via live online streaming.
