Students of the FLCM Win First Place in Academic Tactical Challenge 2026
14. April 2026We are proud to announce that students from the Faculty of Logistics and Crisis Management (FLCM) have achieved outstanding success in the inter-university competition Academic Tactical Challenge 2026, focused on security, civil protection and crisis management.
This prestigious competition is intended for undergraduate students and places emphasis not only on theoretical knowledge, but also on practical skills and teamwork.
The event took place at the Faculty of Biomedical Engineering of the Czech Technical University in Kladno and aimed to simulate real-life crisis situations, in which participants had to demonstrate their ability to make quick decisions, communicate effectively and apply theoretical knowledge in practice.
The team, made up of Libuška Bučková, Michael Drápal, Michal Klimeš, Jakub Krška and Jakub Dušek, delivered an outstanding performance and took first place despite stiff competition.
Their success was the result of thorough preparation, strong commitment and an ability to work effectively under pressure. Special thanks also go to their academic supervisor, Marek Hnilica, who provided expert guidance and support throughout the competition.
This achievement is clear evidence of the high calibre of our students and the quality of education in the fields of security and crisis management. Congratulations to everyone involved, and thank you for representing the University so well! 👏
