An Inspiring Visit from This Year’s Most Popular Teacher in the Czech Republic
16. April 2026On Friday, 10 April, the Faculty of Humanities (FHS) at Tomas Bata University in Zlín welcomed a special guest. Adéla Langerová, a graduate of the Lower Primary School Teacher Training programme and this year’s winner of the prestigious Zlatý Ámos award, returned to her alma mater together with her pupils.
On this occasion, she was personally congratulated by the Rector of TBU and the Dean of the Faculty of Humanities, joined by the Head of the Department of School Education and the Vice-Dean for External Relations. The meeting was both celebratory and warmly informal, offering an opportunity to reflect on the importance of high-quality teaching.

Students from the Department of School Education at the FHS prepared a varied programme for Adéla and her class. The children actively took part in a range of activities designed to foster creativity, cooperation and a connection to the region.
The visit was not only a pleasant occasion, but also a strong source of motivation for current students in teacher education programmes. The story of a successful graduate clearly shows that quality training can lead not only to professional success, but also to a genuine passion for the teaching profession.
We would like to thank Adéla Langerová for this inspiring visit and wish her continued success in her teaching career.
