24th Annual Gala Ball of Tomas Bata University in Zlín
19. January 2026We are delighted to invite you to the 24th Gala Ball of TBU which will take place on Friday 20 February 2026 in the Congress Centre in Zlín. This year’s Gala Ball will be held in the spirit of The Mystery of the Silver Night, symbolically commemorating the 25th anniversary of the University’s founding.
The evening will be hosted by the well-known Czech actor and presenter Vladimír Polívka. Musical accompaniment will be provided by the band Frontmen and the Prestige Symphony Orchestra, whose performances will offer a blend of ceremonial orchestral music and energetic dance tunes throughout the night.
Guests can look forward to a rich and varied musical programme, including a midnight surprise that will accompany the individual parts of the ball and together create the unique atmosphere of The Mystery of the Silver Night. Dress code
The dress code reflects elegance and the theme The Mystery of the Silver Night. Recommended colours are purple, silver and black, with a masquerade mask being a welcome accessory.
Tickets
Advance ticket sales for TBU students and staff will open on 20 January 2026 at 9:00 a.m. Tickets will be available exclusively via a unique link sent to the university email address.
Ticket sales for the general public will begin on Friday 22 January at 9:00 a.m. From that time onwards, tickets may be purchased online via the app or on the smsticket website.
Three ticket options are available:
- Standing ticket (dinner not included) – CZK 400
- Seated ticket (dinner not included) – CZK 650
- Seated ticket including dinner, which can be pre-ordered in advance – CZK 990
