FMC Students Organized Unconventional Christmas Event in Animal Shelter

Students participating in the non-profit project entitled “Němá tvář” (Mute Creatures), operating under the auspices of the Faculty of Multimedia Communications, held a charitable fundraising Christmas event for the benefit of the Shelter for Animals in Need located in Vršava, Zlín. Therefore, in addition to online auctions, various competitions for primary schools and the general public, twelve public charitable collection points were established in December.

The 14th edition of the charitable event entitled “Christmas in the Animal Shelter” was traditionally organized by students participating in the abovementioned non-profit project, implemented within the course unit Non-Profit Organization Projects (PRON) taught at the Faculty of Multimedia Communications.

“In addition to the necessary textiles, feedstuff, titbits and toys, a sum amounting to a total of CZK 10,200 was raised, which definitely allowed shelter animals to enjoy not only a beautiful Christmas season,” commented Eliška Bubláková, manager of the project.
