Governor of the Zlín Region Visited the Centre of Polymer Systems
4. August 2020Jiří Čunek, Governor of the Zlín Region, paid a visit to the Centre of Polymer Systems on 3 August 2020. Accompanied by Prof. Vladimír Sedlařík, Rector of Tomas Bata University in Zlín and Director of the Centre, he toured the laboratories and the technological hall.
Mr. Čunek was interested to learn more about biomaterials used for various ecological applications, the development of nanofibers and the basic and contractual research carried out at the CPS. He was very pleased that Zlín has a globally top-class scientific centre. “The building is beautiful, architecturally very unique. However, what is inside the building, is even more important; and now I see that it is actually a very modern research centre. And I am very glad that we will be able to cooperate in the area of science and research,” said Jiří Čunek.
