Have Your Parcel Delivered to TBU: New Smart Pickup Lockers Now in Operation
27. May 2025Employees of Tomas Bata University can now make use of new smart parcel lockers located right next to university buildings. The lockers have been installed near buildings U5, U12, U15, U17 and U18 and are already fully operational. This convenient service eliminates the need to arrange deliveries via reception or collect parcels from more distant pick-up points.
The aim of introducing the lockers is to simplify daily life for staff and to increase the security of parcel deliveries. Operated by PPL, the lockers function just like standard pick-up points – when placing an order, simply choose the locker closest to your building. Once the parcel arrives, the recipient will receive an SMS or email with a code to collect it.
The system also eases the workload of reception staff and minimises the risk of mix-ups or lost items. The project is now fully up and running, and an additional module will be added in the coming weeks to increase capacity and further improve user comfort.
