Libor Marek Re-Elected as Dean of FHS
19. January 2023Mgr. Libor Marek, Ph.D. will continue to lead the Faculty of Humanities of Tomas Bata University in Zlín in the following four years. He was re-elected to the office of Dean at the meeting of the Academic Senate held on 18 January 2023.
Two candidates had been proposed, namely the current Dean, Mgr. Libor Marek, Ph.D., and former Vice-Rector for Pedagogical Activities and Vice-Rector for Internationalization Ing. Lubomír Beníček, Ph.D. Both candidates presented themselves and their visions at the gathering of the FHS academic community held on 11 January 2023.
Libor Marek received eight votes from the Academic Senate, Lubomír Beníček received two votes.
Libor Marek has been working at the Tomas Bata University since 2006. He moved to Zlín from the Faculty of Arts of Palacký University in Olomouc, where he graduated from Master’s programmes in English Philology and German Philology and later completed studies in the doctoral programme in German Literature.
