Rector of TBU Was Appointed Professor
19. December 2022Rector of Tomas Bata University in Zlín, doc. Mgr. Milan Adámek, Ph.D., was appointed Professor in the field of Machine and Process Control on 19 December 2022. The professorial appointment ceremony during which letters of appointment were handed over to newly appointed Professors was held in the Great Assembly Hall of the Carolinum of Charles University in Prague.
Prof. Adámek was awarded the highest academic degree by Miloš Zeman, President of the Czech Republic, upon the proposal of the Scientific Board of Tomas Bata University in Zlín.
Together with the Rector, three other employees of TBU were awarded the degree of Professor, namely doc. Ing. Dagmar Měřínská, Ph.D., in the field of Technology and Materials, and doc. Ing. Roman Šenkeřík, Ph.D., in the field of Informatics, and doc. Mgr. Soňa Kalenda, Ph.D., in the field of Social Work.
