TBU Christmas Tree Lighting Up Ceremony
25. November 2025Join us and enjoy a magical evening full of music and festive cheer! On Tuesday, 2 December 2025, the university will be transformed into a Christmas fairy tale in front of the Faculty of Management and Economics building on Mostní Street in Zlín.
At 4:00pm, the gates of the FaME will open, along with stalls and creative workshops for children.
At 4:30pm, we will kick off the main programme on stage, featuring both musical and dance performances to get you in the festive spirit. Together with the children from TBU Nursery School, we will light up our beautiful Christmas tree, welcome St. Nicholas and his entourage, and, to finish the evening, enjoy a screening of the film The Angel of the Lord.
The evening will culminate in a popular aftershow party at Sklep 33, where you can look forward to exciting drinks, great atmosphere and plenty of fun (18+).
An official time off has been announced by the Rector for students and staff of the Faculty of Logistics and Crisis Management (FLCM) to take place on the day of the event from 3:00pm. For all other faculties, the official time off will begin at 4:00pm.
The event is intended for TBU students and staff, along with their loved ones.
