TBU Commemorated the Anniversary of Czechoslovak Independence
27. October 2020Prof. Ing. Vladimír Sedlařík, Ph.D., Rector of Tomas Bata University in Zlín, commemorated the Foundation of the Independent Czechoslovak State Day by laying flowers to the statue of T. G. Masaryk in front of the building of TBU Rectorate.
It was T. G. Masaryk who was elected the first President of the newly established republic in 1918. Due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, the celebrations have been limited this year in terms of attendance. Nevertheless, the anniversary of such an important milestone in the history of our country should not be allowed to pass unnoticed.
