TBU Hosted Czech Ambassador to Canada
23. August 2018The Czech Ambassador to Canada Mr. Pavel Hrnčíř, visited Tomas Bata University in Zlín (TBU) on 23 August 2018.
First of all, Mr. Hrnčíř visited the building of the University Centre where he met Prof. Petr Sáha, TBU Rector. Then he took a tour of the Centre of Polymer Systems. After visiting the University he was accompanied by Prof. Sáha to the Bata villa where the Thomas Bata Foundation is situated, and finally they went to the Zlín skyscraper.
Pavel Hrnčíř has been in the office of the Ambassador of the Czech Republic to Canada since 2015. In the past, he also held the post of Deputy Head of the Embassy of the CR in France, Paris, Deputy Head of the Permanent Mission of the Czech Republic to the United Nations Office in Geneva, or Head of the Permanent Representation of the Czech Republic to the Council of Europe (Czech Presidency of the European Union), Strasbourg.
