TBU Hosted the European Pioneer Alliance Meeting
7. November 2025On 21–22 October 2025, Tomas Bata University in Zlín hosted a meeting of the PIONEER Alliance, attended by more than 50 representatives from partner universities.
During the two-day programme, meetings of several key bodies of the Alliance took place – the Governing Board, Advisory Board, Steering Committee, and Project Management Team. Discussions focused mainly on the future direction of the Alliance, strategic goals, and the implementation of individual project tasks. As part of the programme, representatives of partner universities also visited the various faculties and component parts of TBU, where they discussed potential joint projects and opportunities for further collaboration in research, education and innovation.
It was an honour for TBU in Zlín to welcome distinguished guests from partner institutions and to actively contribute to the continued development of cooperation within the Alliance, which primarily focuses on shaping the future of inclusive, safe, sustainable and resilient cities.
The meeting in Zlín helped to strengthen international cooperation, encourage the exchange of experiences, and take further steps toward fulfilling the shared vision of the PIONEER Alliance.
