TBU Mourns the Loss of Prof. Milan Zelený
2. January 2024Our long-term colleague, Prof. Milan Zelený, a wise and kind person, who shared his knowledge and experience with us, sadly passed away on Sunday, 24 December 2023.
Professor Milan Zelený worked at Tomas Bata University in Zlín for more than 20 years. “We greatly appreciated his willingness to share his knowledge, opinions and very good estimates of the future development of world events and the economy,” said Prof. Milan Adámek, current Rector of TBU, about Prof. Zelený’s work at the University. “It has been a great honour for us and for me personally to work with Professor Zelený from the start of his professional activities at TBU. Milan Zelený was a world-renowned economist who significantly helped the Faculty of Management and Economics become an internationally acclaimed economics-oriented faculty,” said Prof. Petr Sáha, Rector Emeritus.
