TBU Showcases Research and Innovation at Science Fair 2026

June 2026The Centre of Polymer Systems, the Footwear Research Centre and the Faculty of Applied Informatics at Tomas Bata University in Zlín once again took part in Science Fair 2026 in Prague, the Czech Republic’s largest science outreach event. Participation in this prestigious exhibition provides an excellent opportunity to demonstrate that world-class research can also be accessible, inspiring and engaging for the wider public.
Each year, Science Fair brings together research institutions, universities, companies and visitors of all ages, creating a unique environment where people can experience science first-hand through interactive demonstrations, experiments and discussions with researchers. Events of this kind play a vital role in promoting science and technology, inspiring interest in research, higher education and innovation.
This year’s exhibition also featured the robot BOTT-E, an engaging addition that increased the interactivity of the university’s stand and helped introduce visitors to modern technologies in an accessible and entertaining way.
For Tomas Bata University in Zlín, promoting science and research is one of its core missions.
