University of the Third Age in the Senate

November 2018A conference entitled “The Significance of Universities of the Third Age for the Education of Senior Citizens” was held on the premises of the Senate of the Parliament of the Czech Republic on 12 November 2018. The opening speech was given and the entire event was presented by Prof. Roman Prokop, TBU Vice-Rector, who holds the office of President of the Association of the Universities of the Third Age of the Czech Republic. The conference was organized on the occasion of the 25 anniversary of establishment of the Association of the Universities of the Third Age of the CR and aimed to offer a broad spectrum of perspectives on the current life of senior citizens.
