“We Are 25” Microsite’s Overview of TBU’s History
8. April 2026By way of marking the 25th anniversary of its founding, the TBU has unveiled an overhauled version of a microsite that relates the story of the University, jenamdvacetpet.cz. It supersedes an earlier “We Are 20” one, devised for the prior major anniversary. The original microsite was highly successful and received a number of awards, as well as international recognition.
The latest implementation adheres to the same concept, yet several changes are apparent. Chapters have been added, existing texts revised and the entire site has a refreshed visual style.
It showcases crucial moments and milestones that have shaped the TBU over the past quarter of a century. Sections are given over to the University’s history, its development, scientific endeavour, student life and other areas that characterise the institution today. An extensive collection of visual material is presented, such as archival photographs and images which illustrate how the University and the city of Zlín have transformed.
Ing. Andrea Kadlčíková, the Director of Marketing and Communications at the TBU, stated that while preparing the new version “the original concept was broadened, as we wanted to highlight the extent to which the University has advanced over the past five years. New chapters have been added and texts updated to reflect the current state of the TBU.”
The microsite was developed by the TBU Marketing and Communications in collaboration with alumni Pavel Novák and Michal Ščuglík, who now also work at the University as lecturers.
The “We Are 25” microsite allows visitors to discover the university’s journey from its beginnings to the present day, alongside key moments that have shaped its identity.
