The University Institute of Tomas Bata University in Zlín is announcing a selection procedure for research and development positions at the Centre of Polymer Systems, focusing on the development and application of in vitro models for biocompatibility testing.
Responsibilities:
- Conducting scientific research.
- Participation in the preparation and implementation of research projects.
- Collaborate on projects with industry partners.
- Management of laboratory infrastructure.
Requirements:
- D. graduate or candidate close to completing a doctoral program in chemical, natural, or technical sciences. The position is also suitable for recent graduates.
- Ability to work independently in biological and chemical laboratories, including tissue culture and molecular biology techniques.
- Communication skills for everyday professional interaction in English.
- Presentation skills in both written and spoken English.
- Proficiency in PC work (Microsoft Office).
- Ability to learn quickly and make informed decisions based on theoretical knowledge and current information.
- High moral and civic integrity.

Employment Type: Fixed-term with potential for extension
Position: Full-time (part-time negotiable)
