Financial Markets and Technologies
The Finance study programme provides a general basis and the opportunity to specialize in two specializations: Corporate Finance and Financial Markets and Technologies. Based on the knowledge and skills acquired during the study of this study programme, the graduate is able to evaluate the economic situation of a business entity or state or public sector institution, map its potential, as well as mentally evaluate systemic problems arising from values and interrelationships within economic systems. Within the study programme, emphasis is placed on the interconnection of individual functions of financial management and economic evaluation of managerial decisions.
The aim of the study is to equip students with advanced knowledge in the field of economics, law, financial management, taking into account current trends and knowledge; specific knowledge within profiling subjects according to individual specializations focused on corporate finance, financial markets, financial technologies, tax and accounting issues, including the international context and control mechanisms. The aim is to develop and intensively strengthen the ability to make independent decisions based on critical evaluation of materials and critical discussion using professional argumentation, encourage socially responsible business and responsibility, educate for teamwork, develop and strengthen professional language skills, especially in English, use accordingly specialized software.
