Did you enjoy Applied Informatics in your Bachelor´s degree studies? This programme will deepen your education- especially in using Computer Technology in Programming, Data-processing and Database Systems, Operating Systems and Computer Networks. You will also focus on Information Transmission over the Internet. You will also familiarise yourselves with Measurement, Optimisation, Technical and Theoretical Cybernetics, or Economic-Managerial subjects. This programme has two specialisations.
This is focussed upon the areas of the detailed analysis of malicious programme codes, cryptology and the protection of computer networks and infrastructures against threats and attacks in cyberspace. Graduates of the Cyber Security specialisation are – above and beyond the common foundation of the study programme, able to use cryptographic methods to protect knowledge and data, test security ranging from simple applications to large and system solutions, to analyse malicious software, and to design, model, test, build and implement security solutions.
