Environmental analysis and technology

Faculty: Faculty of Technology Programme: Materials and Technologies Specialization: Environmental analysis and technology Mode: Full time, Part time Type: Bachelor's Language: Czech

This programme is taught in Czech only

Do you want to save the planet? Then you don’t need a protest sign. You need a laboratory.

The major environmental problems of today won’t be solved by a single individual buying a bamboo toothbrush or giving up paper coffee cups. We need new technologies, smart solutions, and people who understand them.

Environmental Analysis and Technology is a field for those who want to find out what is truly happening in water, soil, or the atmosphere. You will learn to take environmental samples, identify sources of pollution, work with modern analytical methods, and design technologies for cleaner water, air, and more efficient waste management. You will discover how to solve problems—where chemistry alone falls short—using microorganisms, and even learn how to edit their genomes so they can deliver solutions even more effectively.

The future won’t be built on good intentions alone. It will rely on people who can connect science, data, and technology. Perhaps on people just like you.
