Process Engineering

Faculty: Faculty of Technology Programme: Process Engineering Mode: Full time Type: Doctoral Language: English

Perfectly master the technique of processing polymeric materials, that’s what’s up here. From the original idea to the form. This doctoral program brings you all the knowledge necessary to tame the production process.

Process engineers who set forth on this path will acquire both work with computer technology and gain knowledge of material properties while perfecting technological processes. Thanks to this, you will be able to design not only the products themselves, but also tools for their production. You will develop models which display the mechanical behavior of products. Sounds like process engineers are super humans, without whom no proper production can be done. That’s exactly how it is.

As part of your doctoral research, you will focus on the relationship between the structure, design and technological properties of functional materials based on polymers, composites, metals and ceramics. Since many companies will be hungry for your presence, it can be assumed that you will connect your laboratory skills in practice by solving common topics with the industrial sphere. There will also be computer support for production, automation, robotics and efficiency. After your studies there will be nothing left to surprise you within the industry.

A very unique characteristic of this study program is that you will earn a double degree. Which means that it is implemented simultaneously at two universities. You will also enjoy part of your studies at our cooperating Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava. After graduating you will receive two diplomas.
