Risk Management

Faculty: Faculty of Logistics and Crisis Management Programme: Risk Management Mode: Full time Type: Bachelor's Language: English Fee:CZK 60,000 / academic year

After acquiring the essential theoretical and methodological foundations of risk management, students proceed to subjects focused on mastering key phases of the risk management process—identification, analysis, evaluation, and treatment of risks, including the assessment of financial demands for preventive and mitigation measures. They further develop skills necessary for managing risks within public administration and ensuring operational safety. As part of their studies, students gain extensive knowledge in safety management, civil protection, and crisis management.

The curriculum also includes the use of geographic information systems, specialized software tools, and applied statistical methods for territory-related risk assessment and for evaluating risks in workplace safety and operational management. Upon successful completion of the final examination, graduates may continue in a Master’s programme. The graduates may find jobs mainly in private sector organizations or public administration bodies, particularly in government offices, local authorities, and units of the integrated rescue system.
