TBU Academic Senate Elected Candidate to Be Appointed Rector
20. September 2022At its meeting held today (20 September 2022), the Academic Senate of Tomas Bata University in Zlín has elected in a secret ballot doc. Mgr. Milan Adámek, Ph.D. (current Vice-Dean at the Faculty of Applied Informatics), as the candidate to be appointed the Rector.
“I want the university to have ten thousand students, and provide them with excellent career prospects in the Czech and foreign labour market. I want TBU to become an international institution, have many foreign students, and succeed in the area of science and research,” said Assoc. Prof. Milan Adámek.
“I wish Associate Professor Adámek every success in his office, and I believe that the university will flourish under his leadership,” said Prof. Vladimír Sedlařík, TBU Rector.
The Rector shall be appointed by the President of the Czech Republic upon proposal by the Academic Senate.
