Exhibition to Mark the Anniversary Year 2018

October 2018We are delighted to invite students and employees of the University as well as the general public to attend an exhibition entitled “Commemorating History through the Eyes of Future: Anniversary Year 2018 through the Eyes of Young Designers”. The exhibition in the atrium of the University Centre in Zlín has been organized by students and teachers of the Faculty of Multimedia Communications. It is open to the general public Monday to Friday from 8am to 6pm, and will run until the end of 2018.
“The exhibition aims to stimulate public interest in the fundamental and important milestones in the Czech history from 1918; its goal is to present the history from the perspective of young designers and encourage national awareness among students as well as among the general public in an impressive way,” described Assoc. Prof. Irena Armutidisová, Dean of the FMC.
Attendees may look forward to a series of exhibitions, prepared by students of four FMC studios, namely an exhibition of graphic posters reflecting the history of the century of the Republic (Graphic Design studio), an exhibition of posters “Faces of the Century” (Advertising Photography studio) reflecting the entire century as it is inscribed on the faces of the citizens of the region of Zlín, an exhibition of fashion collections (Fashion Design studio) and a luminous 3D sculpture of the Czech national flag (Glass Design studio).
