TBU Graduate Was Presented with Prestigious Award
28. January 2021Emmanuel Selase Asamoah, who comes from Ghana and has completed the doctoral programme in Economics and Management at the Faculty of Management and Economics, received the Award for the best international graduate conferred upon him by the Czech National Agency for International Education and Research. He was presented with the Award at the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Accra, Ghana, on 26 January 2021. He won the Award from among tens of nominations from all higher education institutions in the Czech Republic.
Dr. Asamoah appreciates the Award very much. Although it was difficult for him to get the education he had desired, he got a degree in psychology and sociology at the University of Ghana in 2006, and, afterwards, he decided to continue his studies abroad. He is currently employed at the University of Professional Studies in Accra as the youngest Head of the Department of Business Administration. He has also worked as a consultant to the UN in the sphere of investment opportunities in Ghana and is also a mentor to and legal representative of disadvantaged children and women in Ghana.
