Children and Teenagers Enjoyed This Year’s Junior University
23. July 2021Children and teenagers who took part in the 9th edition of the Junior University organized by the Department of School Education of the Faculty of Humanities of TBU in Zlín had the opportunity to experience student life at our university between 12 July and 16 July 2021.
The programme included a matriculation ceremony and a number of entertaining and educational activities. A total of 47 children aged 3 to 16 years participated in the project.
Children and teenagers enjoyed playful English learning programme, adventurous reading sessions, laboratory experiments, received information on the work of criminalists, participated in a secret project resulting in a birthday card for the Dean of the Faculty, visited ZOO Lešná as well as Kovo ZOO, cooked sausages over a camp fire, and took part in a number of other interesting activities.
The holiday week climaxed with a graduation ceremony – attended also by the participants’ parents, grandparents and friends – this year in completely new graduation gowns and under strict hygiene measures.
