The First 20 Years of TBU Seen through the Eyes of Young Designers
15. October 2021This year we are celebrating our 20th anniversary at TBU. Besides other activities and events held on the occasion of this anniversary, an exhibition “Je nám 20” (We Are Twenty), prepared by students and teachers of the Faculty of Multimedia Communications of TBU in Zlín, will form part of the celebrations. The opening preview of the exhibition will be held at 5pm on Wednesday, 20 October 2021 in the University Centre (building U13).
TBU in Zlín is a young university – open to the world, new ideas and experience. Therefore, students in their twenties studying in the Graphic Design Studio and the Digital Design Studio of the Faculty of Multimedia Communications have been asked to design projects on the occasion of the twentieth anniversary of TBU. Some of them drew inspiration from the history of the University, others drew on their first-hand experience associated with Tomas Bata University.
Thus, the final projects depict the development of TBU in Zlín over the twenty years up to the present day, including the establishment of new faculties, construction of new buildings, achievements in research, development and creative activities and many interesting milestones.
The exhibition will be on view on the first floor of building U13 in front of the TBU Library every day during the opening hours of the University Centre (náměstí T. G. Masaryka 5555 in Zlín).
