Assessment of previous foreign education
This type of recognition of previous education is valid only for Tomas Bata University (TBU) and it is possible to choose it only when applying to one of the study programs offered by TBU.
The amount of the recognition fee is CZK 930 / EUR 39.
If you choose this type of recognition of your previous education, please see the following instructions:
- Send us your online application and request an assessment of previous education by TBU in your online application.
- Pay the recognition fee (CZK 930 / EUR 39) – either online in your application (preferable) or you may send us the payment by a bank transfer (see the payment details below).
- The TBU International Office will check your application and if your application is complete, they will ask you to send us the required documents by post. For reference – see the required documents below.
- After the TBU International office receives your documents and assesses them, they will inform you on the assessment result by e-mail and inform you of further steps in the application process.
- Assessment of previous foreign education is valid only for TBU and it is valid only for the application process in the corresponding academic year to which the applicant sends their application. If an applicant sends more than one application, the assessment is valid for all of them and the recognition fee is to be paid only once for the particular academic year.

- Secondary School Certificate or University Diploma
- Transcript of Records (Diploma Supplement)

Make sure that your bank will transfer exactly EUR 39 (or CZK 930) to the TBU bank account and all other possible fees related to the bank transfer will be covered by you. When using the SWIFT payment, please use the code ‘OUR’ (where the sender of the payment is the payer of all related fees).
After you send the payment by a bank transfer, please upload the payment confirmation to all your applications.
