Be a Government Scholarship Holder at TBU

Are you excellent at economics or information technology and would you like to go further and improve your skills at a foreign institution? Don’t miss the opportunity to win a scholarship offered by the Government of the Czech Republic that will allow you to study Master’s or doctoral programmes in English without tuition fees.

Who can apply for the scholarship?

The Government scholarships for 2019/2020 are offered to the citizens of the following countries:

  • Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo
  • Ukraine, Georgia, Moldova
  • Ethiopia, Zambia
  • Mongolia, Cambodia

The Government scholarships intended for students in follow-up Master’s programmes or doctoral programmes are awarded to graduates from Bachelor’s or Master’s programmes, respectively, who enrol on degree programmes taught in the English language.

What does the scholarship cover?

As a scholarship holder you are exempt from paying tuition fees that can normally reach up to EUR 2,000 per year. Moreover, you will get a monthly scholarship that covers the necessary costs related to your stay and studies in the Czech Republic.

The scholarship amount is regularly amended. Currently the amount paid to students in a follow-up Master’s programme stands at CZK 14,000 per month, whereas the amount paid to students in a doctoral programme stands at CZK 15,000 per month; i.e. approximately EUR 540 to 580.

Where can you apply for the scholarship?

Applications for the scholarship can only be submitted online. The scholarship application form is available at http://registr.dzs.cz/registr.nsf.

Please note that the deadline to submit the electronic application form is 30 September 2018.
