Commemorating History through the Eyes of Future: Anniversary Year 2018 through the Eyes of Young FMC Designers
18. October 2018Students and teachers of the Faculty of Multimedia Communications of Tomas Bata University in Zlín will commemorate the 100th anniversary of establishment of Czechoslovakia by organizing an exhibition between 23 October and 31 December 2018.
The opening preview of the exhibition will take place in the atrium of the University Centre of TBU in Zlín (building U13) at 5pm on Tuesday 23 October 2018. The exhibition will be opened by Prof. Petr Sáha, Rector of Tomas Bata University in Zlín, and Assoc. Prof. Irena Armutidisová, Dean of the Faculty of Multimedia Communications. A fashion show will form part of the opening preview of the exhibition.
The project aims to highlight the main symbols of statehood and encourage national awareness in a spontaneous, but impressive way.
Attendees may look forward to a series of exhibitions, namely an exhibition of graphic posters reflecting the history of the century of the Republic, an exhibition of posters “Faces of the Century”, an exhibition of fashion collections “Reflection 1918-2018 / Using Clothes as a Communication Medium” and a 3D Sculpture of the Czech flag.
