Professor Sedlařík Officially Appointed Dean of the Faculty of Logistics and Crisis Management
4. November 2026On Tuesday 3 November, the Rector of Tomas Bata University in Zlín presented the official appointment decree to Prof. Ing. Vladimír Sedlařík, Ph.D., who will take up the position of Dean of the Faculty of Logistics and Crisis Management (FLCM).
Professor Sedlařík was elected Dean by the FLCM Academic Senate on 6 October 2026. He succeeds the outgoing Dean, Prof. Ing. Zuzana Tučková, Ph.D.
This is another significant leadership role for Professor Sedlařík at TBU. He served as Rector of the University from 2018 to 2022 and currently heads the TBU Centre of Polymer Systems. As the Faculty’s new Dean, he aims to build on its achievements to date and focus on its further development.
