TBU Connects the World of Business, Innovation and Students. The First NoLimits Business Meetup to Take Place in Vizovice
19. November 2025Tomas Bata University in Zlín is launching a new format for inspirational gatherings of the professional and business community under the name NoLimits Business Meetup. The aim of the event is to create a boundaryless space for sharing experiences, inspiration, and collaboration between the university, businesses, enterprising students, startups and public administration. The first edition will take place on 20 November 2025 at 17:00 at the UNICO HUB project, a new initiative by UNICO Modular a.s., in Vizovice.
“Zlín Region has exceptional innovation potential. Our goal is for TBU to become an active partner to companies and entrepreneurs in exploring new ways to develop this potential. NoLimits Business Meetup is an open platform where the academic world meets practice. The developing UNICO HUB project, with its official opening scheduled for the first half of 2026, provides the perfect setting for the first in a planned series of meetups,” says Assoc. Prof. Petr Novák, Ph.D., from the Faculty of Management and Economics at TBU in Zlín.
The meetup will offer short inspirational insight talks, presentations from interesting startups, and networking opportunities. Attendees will have the chance to discuss current topics in business, innovation, and sustainable development in an informal atmosphere. The partner and host of the inaugural event is UNICO Modular, a manufacturer of modular buildings based in Vizovice, which has long supported innovation and regional development.
