TBU Honours 105th Anniversary of Czechoslovakia

October 2023The 105th anniversary of establishment of Czechoslovakia was commemorated in Zlín by the representatives of Tomas Bata University, the Municipality of Zlín, Zlín Regional Authority, Zlín-based organizations and associations. The commemorative event took place at the statue of Tomáš G. Masaryk in front of the Congress Centre in Zlín on Friday, 27 October 2023.
The reverent event was organized by the Statutory Municipality of Zlín in cooperation with the Regional Military Headquarters Zlín. Prof. Milan Adámek, Rector of TBU, paid tribute to the memory of those who contributed to the ending of the First World War, to the recognition of the national rights of the Czech and Slovak people and to the establishment of an independent Czechoslovak State by laying a wreath.
