Tomas Bata University Mourns the Loss of Renowned Personality
5. August 2019Assoc. Prof. Michael Klang, Head of the Spatial Design Studio at the Faculty of Multimedia Communications, died suddenly on 1 August 2019.
Michael Klang was an architect, stage designer and visual artist. Since 2011 he had been holding the post of Head of the Spatial Design Studio at the Faculty of Multimedia Communications of TBU. In 2017 he was appointed Associate Professor for Multimedia and Design. In 2017 Assoc. Prof. Klang and his students organized an exhibition showing designs by Prof. Eva Jiřičná and held in the 18 Gallery on the occasion of the official opening of the TBU Educational Complex. Michael Klang was the author of the design of the TBU stand which will be on display at the Gaudeamus higher education exhibition, to take place in October 2019.
