Sustainability at UTB in 2024
Water consumption in recent years mirrored the situation in the energy sector, namely the COVID-19 pandemic and the shutdown of all activities at the university. In 2024, water consumption was 41,210 m³ and sewage charges of 64,104 m³, which amounts to 115.98 m³per person. Compared to the previous year, there was a decrease of 747 m³in water consumption and, consequently, a decrease of 872 m³ in sewage charges.
The highest water consumption is in buildings U6, U7, and U12, i.e., at the UTB dormitories.
