The main purpose of this programme is to teach you everything you need to know about the processes involved in producing a wide range of food and beverages. Those aiming for a career in food technology will be provided with the skills required to analyse the composition of food and beverages, and the ability evaluate their quality. You will be able to estimate the structure and quantity of “E” food additives in almost anything, even with your eyes closed and unlike the rest of the poor shoppers, you will know bloody well what the gibberish written on the packaging actually means. You will get well acquainted with legislation as well as with management and marketing issues tied to food production and distribution. Nothing will surprise you when it comes to food production issues.
