The programme is focused on applied research and development of new methods and tools to improve performance and efficiency of manufacturing as well as administrative processes and to integrate these into complex systems in the context of Industry 4.0.

Students will broaden their horizons in the field of selected economic and managerial courses in the context of a current state of knowledge. At the same time, they will acquire knowledge of world events in the area of industrial engineering, they will be able to identify key development trends in a particular area and set the required focus of R&D activities following requirements of the market (industrial companies) with the aim of their applicability in specific conditions of a company. The study is a combination of economic fields of study, informatics, engineering, technologies and materials. In the course of it, emphasis is put on improving the level of English as well as the ability to write scientific papers and present research results in the English language.

This programme focuses on scientific activities of the specialists planning to work in industrial companies as well as academia. The graduate of this programme has knowledge of planning, decision-making and optimization processes, and is able to make use of such knowledge in order to understand and develop concepts as well as particular methods of industrial engineering. Due to the knowledge and skills acquired, the graduate can develop system disciplines and solve R&D tasks as well as scientific issues connected with these.
