HR Award – HRS4R
Two TBU research centres – Centre of Polymer Systems that forms a component part of the University Institute, and the Centre for Security, Information and Advanced Technologies CEBIA-Tech at the Faculty of Applied Informatics have recently earned the prestigious HR Award as an acknowledgement of the quality of management of research institutions. The certificate is awarded by the European Commission to research institutions that are introducing the so-called HRS4R strategy, which means that they create a transparent working environment in accordance with the European Charter for Researchers and Code of Conduct for the Recruitment of Researchers.
The construction of both research centres that are largely focused on interconnecting research and the practice was funded mainly by the European Union. Activities implemented at both centres have a significant impact on qualitative indicators and the reputation of Tomas Bata University in Zlín both on the national and international scale, which has a positive impact on the town of Zlín and the Zlín Region.
The centres managed to win the award within the OP RDE project entitled “Development of Capacities for Research and Development at TBU in Zlín” with Reg. No. CZ.02.2.69/0.0/0.0/16_028/0006243.
