Activities
Supervision of the network status is provided by CIT during normal working hours. Computer Networks Department performs the following activities:
- ensures the operation and maintenance of the TBU computer network (wired and wireless),
- ensures the management of equipment for securing the operation of the TBU computer network,
- takes care of the integrity and security of data, ensures network security,
- ensures the management of data servers and user access to these servers,
- provides user support related to the data network (wired and wireless),
- participates in the coordination of the operation and development of local computer networks;,
- provides consultations in the field of data networks, cooperates with local administrators on components,
- participates in the modernization of the existing data network, cooperates in the planning and construction of new data networks as part of project preparations,
- cooperates with universities in the Czech Republic in the construction and modernization of the academic computer network.
