Practical Information

Scholarships

TBU does not offer any extraordinary scholarships for incoming exchange students (apart from Accommodation Scholarship for Erasmus+ students). Nevertheless, students may utilize other options under (not only) the following mobility programs.

Erasmus+

If you wish to study at TBU under the Erasmus+ program, firstly check with your home university if it has an agreement with our university. Then you should follow the nomination selection process at your home university, so please contact your coordinators for more information.

Erasmus+ Credit Mobility

Depending on a valid project, TBU can offer some scholarship places to incoming students outside of the EU. Currently, we can welcome students from:

  • Israel (Bezalel Academy of Fine Arts)
  • Kazahkstan (Taraz State Pedagogical University in Taraz)
  • South Africa (Stellenbosch University)

CEEPUS

CEEPUS (Central European Exchange Program for University Students) was designed to increase student mobility in the Central European region and to enable teachers to travel to partner universities to deliver lectures and offer courses in their areas of specialization.

TBU (especially Faculty of Technology and Faculty of Management and Economics) is involved in several CEEPUS projects, for more information about the application please see the website ceepus.info.

SHARE

The program is intended for students from the ASEAN region. TBU is the only university in the Czech Republic involved in this program. For more information please visit.

Government Scholarship

The Ministry of Education, Youth, and Sport of the Czech Republic (MEYS) annually offers scholarships to foreign nationals within the framework of intergovernmental exchange programs.
The period of scholarship usually ranges from 2 to 10 months.

AKTION

The AKTION Programme outlines bilateral co-operation between the Czech Republic and Austria in the field of science and education and fosters the implementation of joint research projects and academic exchanges between institutions of higher education in both countries.
