LEELOGreen LogisticsThe aim of the subject is to familiarize the students with growing importance of living environment protection with connection to supply chain management and logistics activities. The students are acquainted step by step with notion „green logistics“, with evolution history of relationship between logistics and living environment protection. The students are gaining basic knowledge from the field of freight transport impacts on living environment determination and determination of warehousing and further logistics activities impacts on living environment. They will be familiarized with European emission standards and ISO 14 000. Further the students will be acquainted with innovation approaches to logistics system management – purchasing, manufacturing, packaging and identification, inventory management, warehousing and distribution in relation to living environment protection. Also the students are familiarized with principles of supply chain management, with emphasis on living environment protection, with impact of e-commerce, e-business and e-logistics on living environment protection. The aim of the course is to acquaint students with key principles, tools and current trends in the field of modelling and simulation of production and logistics processes in connection with practically used specific methods and tools of modelling in contemporary companies.

2.  – Current concepts used in companies for modelling of production and logistics processes.

3.  – Setting key parameters for modelling production and logistics processes.

4.  – Audit of production and logistics processes, key metrics.

5.  – Process map of production and logistics process.

6.  – Methodology of production processes simulation.

7.  – Methodology of logistics processes simulation.

8.  – Characteristics of dynamic systems, determination and statistic methods in process modelling.

9.  – Key principles of planning and management methods of production and logistics systems (KANBAN, lean production, lean logistics).

10 – Modelling of production and logistics processes with support of selected software (ARIS, WITNESS, NAVISION, DELMIA and others).

11.- Practical case studies in modelling and simulation for optimization of production and logistics processes.

12.- Theory of limitations in modelling practice of production and logistics processes.

13.- Identification of the point of disconnection of the production and logistics process in connection with their continuous improvement.

14.- Information systems to support modelling of production and logistics processes – principles of lean logistics and administration.
